This policy explains how to raise a concern with Columbia SC Roof Replacement, the referral service behind this site for homeowners in Columbia, South Carolina, and nearby towns. Last updated October 3, 2026.

If your complaint is about the site itself, such as wrong information, a form that didn't work or how your details were handled, call (803) 555-0152. Tell us your name, the date of your request and what went wrong. We look into every complaint and let you know what we found and what, if anything, we changed.

If your complaint is about a roofer, remember that each roofer is an independent business. Raise the problem with the roofer first, in writing if you can, and keep copies of your estimate, contract, receipts and photos. Please tell us as well. We use what homeowners report to decide whether to keep sending referrals to a roofer, and we may stop referring homeowners to one.

You can also go to the state. Roofers doing home jobs over $500 must be registered with the SC Residential Builders Commission, which you can reach at 803-896-4696 or through SC LLR. If a roofer offered to pay or rebate your deductible, or offered you a gift, credit or "referral fee" tied to the job, that conduct is against South Carolina law under § 40-59-25(E), and the Commission is the place to report it.

There are limits to what we can do. We can't refund money you paid a roofer, order repairs, settle a contract dispute or step into an insurance claim. For those, the roofer, the Commission, your insurer or a lawyer is the right contact. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
